DELIVERY & RETURNS
We aim to pack and despatch your order within 24 hours of receipt. Please note that we do not dispatch orders on weekends or Bank Holidays. Delivery is normally within 3 working days. On the rare occasion that an item is not in stock, we will inform you via email as soon as possible with an estimated delivery date. Times quoted are in good faith, but shall not be binding.
Most goods are sent via courier. Collier & Wood cannot be held responsible, for delays arising from the use of this service. Please allow five working days from the day after ordering before querying a non-delivery.
We reserve the right to choose the method of shipping, especially for larger orders. Goods ordered together may not necessary be despatched together.
Should you require a next day delivery or any special instructions please call the office where we will be pleased to help.
If your order is dispatched via courier service we’ll pass your email address and/or mobile number to our courier company. This will enable them to notify you when the parcel is out for delivery and give you the option to rearrange if necessary. This service will not apply to goods dispatched direct from our suppliers or deliveries outside of the UK.
Our aim is to dispatch your order as quickly as possible and orders for stock items will normally be processed and dispatched between 1 and 3 working days from order, depending on the items ordered. £4.50 plus VAT is the standard delivery charge for most parts of the UK. Orders placed online over £50, excluding VAT, to most parts of mainland UK have free delivery. This excludes any large or heavy items. Free delivery over £50 does not apply to orders where a promotional discount has been applied.
The Channel Islands, Offshore islands, Highlands, Scottish Islands and certain areas of the UK may vary according to the size and weight of the parcel. This excludes any large or heavy items.
NEXT DAY DELIVERY
Orders must be received before midday (UK time), to be delivered the next working day. Next day delivery only applies to items that are in stock. Does not apply to items that are sent direct from our supplier, or large or heavy items, The Seller can accept no responsibility for transport delays causing late delivery. Next day delivery is only available to mainland UK.
Prices quoted at checkout are for mainland areas of delivery country. In some circumstances the delivery charge may need to be increased to allow for large or heavy items, however you will be informed of this before your order is dispatched. Please contact us for a quote to deliver to any other destination.
What if I change my mind after I’ve placed my order?
In the first instance please contact us on email@example.com and tell us of your intentions. If the goods have not been sent we can cancel and issue a full refund straight away. If the goods have been dispatched, we will refund less the cost of the shipping once the goods have been returned to us in their original state. Please note there is a £3.00 administration charge for all non-fault returns, outside of 10 working days.
Under the United Kingdom’s Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 you can return any product to us, providing they are in an un-used, un-opened and in an ‘as new’ condition within seven days from the day after you receive the goods.
We recommend you send any products back to us securely packaged using a certified delivery service, enclosing a copy of the original invoice and any free gifts. If there is no fault with the product we do not refund delivery charges. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
If, in our opinion, the returned goods are damaged we will provide you, at our option, with replacement goods or a refund for the total costs of the goods within 30 days of our receipt of the returned goods provided you have complied with the provisions above.
If we find that the goods are not damaged or faulty, we will return the ordered goods to you and you will be responsible for the cost of the return shipping. We will also charge you an administration fee of 10% of the cost of your original order.
If you wish to return unwanted goods, please ensure that any product you have bought is in original condition, unworn or unused and sent back to us with its original packaging. Your statutory rights are not affected.
REFUNDS WILL BE SUBJECT TO THE PURCHASE PRICE LESS A 10% HANDLING CHARGE. CARRIAGE CHARGES WILL NOT BE REFUNDED.
